Dr Rafael Artuch joins our Medical & Scientific Advisory Board

It gives us great pleasure in welcoming Dr Rafeal Artuch as a Medical and Scientific Advisory Member.

Dr Artuch from Spain has an interest in AADC deficiency and we are looking forward to his contribution to future AADC discussions.

We have Medical and Scientific Advisory Members in the UK, USA, Switzerland, Germany, Greece and Spain, allowing diverse discussions when considering future AADC Research Projects for funding.

The purpose of the Charity's Medical and Scientific Committee is to glean medical expertise from Professionals around the World who have both an interest and a knowledge of AADC deficiency. Collaboration with such people is vitally important to the future of children suffering this rare disease.

The input from Professionals allows us to make the most informed decisions when funding future Research Projects.

We are very grateful to all our Medical and Scientific Advisory Members and look forward to meeting again on 22nd February 2008 at our 2nd AADC Meeting.

On behalf of the Board of Directors
