Dr Wang-Tso Lee joins our Medical & Scientific Advisory Board 17 June 2008
It gives us great pleasure in welcoming Dr Wang-Tso Lee to the Trust as a Medical and Scientific Advisory Member.
Dr Wang-Tso Lee has an extraordinary interest in AADC deficiency and we are looking forward to his contribution to future AADC discussions. Dr Lee follows the progress of many AADC Patients as well being involved in AADC Research at his laboratory in Taiwan.
We are honoured and privileged to have a Medical and Scientific Advisory Committee made up of Medical Experts from the UK, USA, Switzerland, Germany, Greece, Spain and Taiwan.
The main purpose of the Medical and Scientific Advisory Committee is to review AADC Research Grant Proposals submitted to the Trust for funding consideration. Collaboration with such Professionals is vitally important to the future of our children who suffer this rare, life-threatening and disabling brain disease.
We are extremely grateful to all our Medical and Scientific Advisory Members and look forward to seeing many of them in 2009 at our 3rd AADC Medical Meeting. (Details to follow)
On behalf of the AADC Board of Directors...THANK YOU!
