Thank Q's

Thank you very much to ‘Carpet RIGHT’ on Purley Way, Croydon, who very kindly donated a beautiful carpet to us for our new e-Bay storeroom, without so much as a flicker! All at AADC love it, and are pleased to know that even in the current global meltdown, there are still people who are very generous with their help. Their members of staff were lovely; cheerful, professional and so helpful in showing us around, and then loading the chosen carpet into the car for us! Picked it up like feather! It was a picture at the other end though! They should have seen the two of us nearly on our knees, one either end of the roll, struggling to carry it through narrow doors! All afternoon recovering, but well worth it! Thank you so much to everyone at Carpet RIGHT from Lisa and Gina.

Thank you so much to the Church of St Edmund in Purley who donated a fantastic £342 to the Trust, representing a part of the proceeds that were raised at their annual fair held by the Church in September. Our grateful thanks to everyone who donated, your generosity is much appreciated!

Unbelievable! A huge £4,606 was donated by Mrs Kincaid and all her friends in Belfast, N. Ireland having raised this amazing figure by holding a Dance for everyone they know. You must have all worked incredibly hard and we really appreciate your wonderful effort. Our heartfelt thanks!

Thank you so much to John Piggin and all those attending the 27th Annual MUN Conference held in October at Royal Russell School in Croydon, who raised a fantastic £400 on our behalf. Thank you also to Sadie France for putting us forward for representation. Well done Sadie, you’re a star!

Very many thanks to Kevin Bayley of Jasco UK in Great Dunmow, Essex for generously donating £400 to the Trust, representing a donation towards the cost of our recent trip to Malaysia in early November ‘08. We are extremely grateful!

Another fabulous ‘Christmas Ladies Night’ with the Cyclist Lodge LOI at the Masonic Lodge in Surbiton on 6 Dec, raising over a fantastic £5,500. Lovely dinner, lively disco, great auction and raffle support from the 140 guests who turned out to support us on such a chilly night! Thank you so much to Graham & Janette Brooker, their family and everyone who obviously worked extremely hard to make it the complete success that it was!

Hopefully to be continued.....
